Helen Lansdowne Resor was one of the most important women in advertising. She was a coiner of slogans and was credited with originating the idea of having persons in the news "indorse" products. She was a pioneer in the field and opened it to women. With her husband Stanley Resor, build J. Walter Thompson Co. in one of the world's largest advertising agency.
