Downloading
Two different versions of IMACC are available from this archive--a
regular version and a video version. The regular version takes
about 2 MB of hard disk space after installation. The video version
of IMACC is much larger than the regular one in its size--it takes
up to 8 MB of disk space. If you want to download the regular
IMACC, click
here. If you want to download the video version of IMACC,
please click
here. Video for Windows will be automatically installed for
viewing TV commercials when you are setting up IMACC video version.
Also, FReach
Teach Tutorial System for Windows 95 (32 bit) is available.
You will need Winzip95
6.0 to unzip this program after you download it.
Please click here
to download the Instructor's Version of AMCAAMX.
2.
Decompression & Installation
After downloading the software, you need to unzip the compressed
files for further installation. If you do not have a compression
program, click
here to download. For the best result, please use the winzip56.exe
program.
In order to install IMACC software on a PC, you must have Windows
3.1, 3.11 or Windows 95 (works great in Windows 95) installed
on your PC. Although the Macintosh version of IMACC is not available
yet, you can run IMACC software very nicely if you have SoftWindows
on your Macintosh or PowerMac. When you are running SoftWindows,
make sure to change the video display option so that it can display
the entire screen of IMACC programs (the Mac display bar becomes
hidden). 486 PC versions of Softwindows are now available (Please
send us a comment using the comment
facility on the Center for Interactive Advertising Feedback
page if you have questions about SoftWindows for Mac/PowerMac
or installation questions generally. We will be glad to help if
we can).
After decompressing [imacc.zip] or [imaccvid.zip] files, you will
find a [setup.exe] file in each of these. Using the File Manager
in the Main folder in Windows or Explorer in Windows 95, highlight
the [setup.exe] file and double click it. Then, you will see the
dialog box which will lead you through the installation.
After finishing the installation, you should have an IMACC folder
on the desktop, under which AdBudg, FReach Teach, AMCAAMX, and
AyerPlan icons are present. Double click on these icons to launch
any of the programs.
