Work For It
Advertisers have to strive for that first “kiss” too. Continuing to impress the consumer on the “first date” is required in order for the consumer to determine if they are still attracted to the product. This is when the advertiser has to work its hardest to impress the consumer. They are going after that first initial purchase, which is very crucial in developing a relationship with the consumer. Without that initial purchase, there is no possibility of a relationship.
When the advertiser goes in for that first kiss (the initial purchase), they hope that the consumer does not turn their head so the advertiser is only able to kiss them on the cheek. That is one of the biggest disappointments that someone on a date can face. A guy or an advertiser never wants the cheek. The cheek basically means that she thinks that the guy is nice, but she is not that interested in him. If the advertiser gets the cheek, there is really no hope of ever being able to go for the first kiss again.
If the consumer did return the kiss back, the thought of the second date should be in the back of their mind. The kiss had better be good though; because if it too wet or too much lip, the consumer will probably not want to think about a second date.
