"Consumer generated content" has taken the world by storm, especially by those generations who "grew up" with technology – today’s kids. Between top video sharing sites like YouTube and Vsocial - who all feature video-sharing, networking sites like myspace and neopets and advergames by any number of companies like 7up and Burger King, technology is creating countless ways for consumers to create their own experiences. Mark Dominiak reports that his kids "...are inclined to clean up their dishes and then beg to jump on the computer so they can check out Disney-channel.com. There are many games and video clips there, as well as activities tied into the Verb public service effort to encourage physical activity for tweens. They spent a lot of time watching the summer competitive games online there as well" (Dominiak 1).
