Introduction

 

To measure how much consumers would like an ad and how effective the advertising message would be, it is normally recommended to use the research method: Copy Testing. This study used the same method to see the effectiveness of print advertisements for three body lotion brands. The three brands used in this research are Olay, Aveeno, and Curel. All three brands of body lotion promise to last for twenty four hours and compete on the same shelf of the store they are sold in. They share similar packaging and similar retail prices. All statistical analyses used p < 0.15 as significant.  If significance is noted, it means that in 85 or more samples drawn from the same population as this sample, the expected scores would be the same as found in this sample. This report compiles the results from this project and includes the following: Executive Summary, Introduction, Methodology, Analysis, Conclusions, Summary, and two Appendices: A is the survey with mean values for each answer and B is the survey as viewed by respondents.
