Consumer brand preferences and the effects that print advertisements have on this was the purpose of this study. The advertisements copy tested were three well-known brands of imported mexican beer: Corona, Dos Equis and Negra Modelo. Answers from an online survey were able to be run through calculations to determine initial brand preference, post-ad exposure brand preference, and which elements may have contributed to the success or the failure of an ad. Corona was the most favored beer followed by Dos Equis then Negra Modelo.
