Conclusion After putting together a work such as this one tends to look back and realize that they are trying to do the impossible. They are trying to quantify human nature. Perhaps after reading the hundreds of theories trying to label and understand human personality that exist in this world we should step back and understand one thing: no one of these theories is complete. Each in their own way they are right about individuals and their personalities. They each show a way, but not necessarily the way in which we can classify a person’s behavior. One should take away from this knowledge only the general idea that each one is communicating in order to form one’s own ideas on personality. In reference to the personalities of those people in and those who have chosen to one day enter into the advertising profession we do see a certain amount of congruence between the different theories we have discussed. Those most drawn to the profession seem to be more outgoing, more open-minded and more people driven human beings than those who choose most normal paths. Another thing that we notice is that these traits listed for the advertising profession are similar to those traits listed for people who are happy and who succeed in their professions. Perhaps, this is what makes advertising the best career choice in the world. |
